Colorado Eye Institute is participating as a principal investigator in an F.D.A. clinical trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of the Glaukos® iStent Infinite Trabecular Micro-Bypass System in subjects with mild to moderate primary open-angle glaucoma.
Primary open-angle glaucoma often results in loss of visual acuity and, if left untreated, is one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide.
With the availability of less invasive procedures, these emerging technologies are an advancement for treatment in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma. Therefore, we are working on this important clinical trial to further advance potential treatment options for patients.

If you qualify and participate in the study, Colorado Eye Institute will provide all appointments and procedures at no cost. Glaukos will also provide compensation.
